I’m stuck with PhotoPress, I don’t have time to switch to Gallery and PhotoPress works well. I’ll choose only some pictures since my photo album is currently based on LinPha.
The same applies to the theme…

Currently watching…

I’m currently watching Scrubs that was aired by MTV some time ago, only now I have the time to watch all the three seasons previously recorded (and remember, no TiVo around here). This reminds me of the infamous I-delete-what-you- recorded-two-weeks-ago cable TV issue.

Great movies

I just bought these great movies: Heat, Se7en (both 1995), The Abyss (1989).
Se7en and Heat (collector’s editions) are distributed by Cecchi Gori Home Video the WORST (and I MEAN IT) packager out there, here’s why:

  • Heat: no english language, only italian (DTS and DD5.1); awful video quality
  • Se7en: awful video quality, bad telecine ?
  • (almost all titles): a lot of UOP, like mandatory english or italian subtitles when watching the movie in english

In the past CGHV has often released a “2nd” version of their DVDs with some of their mistakes “removed” of “softened”. They call these DVDs “collector’s editions“. Lamers!
So don’t buy DVDs from CGHV unless they cost very little money (they are sold right now for UNDER 10€, usually 5-6 €).
