I’m a freelance IT consultant with interests in open source/commercial systems & network management software moving towards SLM/end user experience solutions.

Main interest (in no particular order):

  • Technology
  • Movies (mostly SciFi)
  • Cars
  • Family…

I’d like to travel when I can (see the pictures). My next (dream) destination is Japan. I’d like also to visit northen Europe (Sweden, Finland, UK).

Italian note on the writing language:Il blog viene scritto principalmente in inglese per “allenamento”. In alcuni casi posso tralasciare questa abitudine per poter sbagliare anche in italiano…

Senpai kanjiA quick note on the nickname: Senpai. It’s a japanese word that means “older student” or “tutor”. It’ normally a senior student/collegue that leads the kohai (junior student) in the learning process of something (from normal school to martial arts or whatever). Further information can be found on the ‘net, starting from Wikipedia. In my personal opinion there is no arrogance in self-defining as a senpai as long as you remember that there is always someone that can teach you valuable things and that you have to pass the knowledge to a willing kohai. Always.
