Proprio in questo momento Italia 1 sta trasmettendo l’Episodio VI¹ ed una scritta scorrevole avvisa che, per chi usa il digitale terrestre, è possibile seguire il film in lingua originale… Ah quale delizia! Ricordo ancora quando, in una imprecisata notte della seconda metà degli anni ottanta, registravo lo stesso film dallo stesso canale, in inglese. L’audio era irrimediabilmente rovinato con una costante eco che rendeva fastidioso l’ascolto e che non si è placata per tutta la durata del film. Ma l’emozione di ascoltare la voce di Darth Vader era incredibile!

Se solo si usassero di più e meglio le tecnologie riusciremmo ad avere un paese competitivo almeno dal punto di vista linguistico (sì, è vero, faccio una colpa anche alla televisione di aver relegato l’italiota² ad un essere mono-linguaggio).

Ovviamente, 3 secondi dopo, sul fondo dello schermo scorreva un altro importantissimo avviso: “VUOI DIMENTICARE IL TUO EX MARITO CON UN NUOVO AMORE ? …”.

Ecco, le cose sono tornate alla normalità, già mi stavo preoccupando…

Nonostante sia troppo simile¹ a X-Men (ma presumo sia voluto²) si fa comunque guardare ed è “ben” sceneggiato³ (ovvero crea quella sorta di dipendenza che è l’unica cosa che conta in un serial).

Però ci sono anche risvolti curiosi come il fatto che l’esplosione a NY sia “voluta” per arrivare al potere e che il salto di 5 anni (visto che è una serie del 2006) rimandi al 2001⁴… Notevoli le ultime 4 puntate ed i ribaltamenti che avvengono, spero solo che non la tirino troppo per le lunghe…⁵

Ogni volta riesce a stupirmi.

Anche solo capitando sulla RAI durante lo zapping ho potuto ammirare le prodezze delle aspiranti: indovinare il titolo di una canzone che fa “Tutti frutti, oh Rudy…” oppure l’attore di Attila flagello di Dio (entrambe le risposte sono state suggerite).

Ridateci le riprese dei culi che in fondoschiena sono lì per questo…

Ho appena visto i primi sei episodi della sesta serie e ci sono dei momenti VERAMENTE esilaranti. Il sesto episodio darà parecchio filo da torcere ai doppiatori…

Attendo con ansia l’uscita in Italia e comincio a mettere da parte i soldi per i DVD… anzi li metto nella wishlist

Veloce commentino su Saturn 3, film di fantascienza del 1980 trasmesso due sere fa su La 7. Onestamente mi è sembrato carino (la base spaziale sperduta e tagliata fuori ed il solito pazzo omicida+robot) ma se pensiamo che è stato girato nello stesso periodo di Guerre Stellari ed Alien, insomma… è abbastanza lampante che la splendida Farrah Fawcett è il solo motivo per guardarlo. E’ accompagnata da due grandi del cinema: Kirk Douglas ed un giovanissimo Harvey Keitel (presente anche in Taxi Driver insieme a Jodie Foster).
Come d’altronde Jane Fonda è il miglior motivo per vedere Barbarella (ma c’è anche Tognazzi!)… bè anche per il fatto che è da questo film che i Duran Duran hanno preso il loro nome…

Ieri sera invece ho trovato finalmente il tempo (e la voglia) di vedere Sin city: l’accoppiata Rodriguez/Tarantino non ha bisogno di presentazioni e lo splatter è annunciato (e ovviamente presente). Ma il film è tratto da un fumetto ed è fatto bene, con un saggio uso del bianco & nero e spruzzate di colore che giovano all’atmosfera cupa (attenzione: come al solito chi è veramente fan della striscia avrà qualcosa da ridire ma personalmente ho apprezzato il film come entità a sè stante, giusto come svago serale).

Invece non ho apprezzato (soggetto un po’ interessante ma sviluppato molto male, sceneggiatura lenta e banale) Futureworld il sequel del bellissimo Westworld (Il mondo dei robot). Qui Yul Brynner fa un parte ridicola giusto per dire che è nel cast (solito trucchetto richiama-pubblico?). Piuttosto rivedete due volte il mitico Westworld, che, è bene ricordarlo, è stato scritto e diretto da Michael Crichton (vi dice qualcosa?).

Concludo il post ludico con un’appendice seria: date un’occhiata al blog di Beppone che propone giuste tiratine d’orecchie (eufemismo) ai nostri (si fa per dire) governanti. A voi la riflessione…

Vorrei scrivere un post un po’ tecnico sul problema (e sulle possibili soluzioni) della lettura di molti blog senza rischiare di perdersi qualcosa ma, visto che per ora non ho tempo, dovete accontentarvi di questo…

A pranzo si parlava del “posto più strano dove l’avete fatto”¹ (-5 punti a chi chiede cosa)… Vi ripropongo la stessa domanda nel sondaggio a lato (potete aggiungere delle risposte!).

Joey: OK… my weirdest place would have to be… the women’s room on the second floor of the New York CIty public library.

Monica: Oh my God! What were you doing in a library?

Ross: Pheebs, what about you?

Phoebe: Oh… Milwaukee.

Rachel: Um… Ross?

Ross: Disneyland, 1989, ‘It’s a Small World After All.’

All: No way!

Ross: The ride broke down. So, Carol and I went behind a couple of those mechanical Dutch children… then they fixed the ride, and we were asked never to return to the Magic Kingdom.

Phoebe: Oh, Rachel.

Rachel: Oh come on, I already went.

Monica: You did not go!

All: Come on.

Rachel: Oh, alright. The weirdest place would have to be… (sigh)… oh, the foot of the bed.

Ross: Step back.

Joey: We have a winner!
